The railway Station "Ulyanovsk 1"

Railway traffic to Simbirsk was opened on the 28th of December in 1898. One-store brick station was built at this place . It was the first major post-war construction of Ulyanovsk, built on a grand scale of the Stalin era. The tower and spire have a height of over 38 meters, the station is decorated with rich moldings, painted walls and mosaic seemed to be palace for those poor times.
