Museum "Simbirsk classical gymnasium"

Memorial atmosphere helps to feel the atmosphere of the ancient institution of the 1880s. Here, with the highest possible reliability, the interior classrooms, the assembly hall, a physics laboratory, "greatcoat" were rebuilt. The museum has the only sundial in Russia from 1840 from Borgard firm, as well as the the physical device – Franklin heater. The building of the former grammar school in Simbirsk is a historical monument. The main body was built in 1790 by architect IM Toscani. The red brick annexe was made to the main building in 1883, which is a museum now. Among the graduates of the gymnasium was VI Ulyanov (Lenin).
