Baron HG Shtampel’s Mansion. Architect A. Shode. 1905-1906.

Architectural design of the building, which is a talented model aristocratic mansion at the time, was made in the French Renaissance style, using concrete materials, metal and cement plaster. Most major feature of the building is the main facade with two projection in the facade at its corners. There are small vases on the parapet posts sculpted the Olympic flame and alagreks. From the main facade the mansion is closed off from the street with the high fence with stone pillars and metal bars. In 1992, the mansion was opened as the museum of Modern Art. named after A.Plastov.
