The state historical and memorial Museum-reserve Motherland of V. Lenin State Historical and Memorial Museum-Reserve Homeland of Lenin combines historical monuments of architecture and culture of old Simbirsk. This is a unique museum complex, which has no analogues in Russia recreating the life of the Russian provinces of the late 19th century. It occupies more than 170 hectares, or 2 areas in the center of the city. It represents the area of Tsarist Russia and eliminates the need to build appropriate shooting scenery.
